What Flights For Life Is

Flights For Life, Incorporated (FFL) was formed in 1984 as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free air transportation to transport blood for the United Blood Service (UBS) of Arizona. FFL works in cooperation with hospitals, blood banks, health-care agencies and private individuals all over Arizona. WE DO NOT FLY PATIENTS. Please do not make requests for patient flights.

What Flights for Life does:

On a non-emergency basis, Flights For Life provides transportation of human blood, tissue and organs.

FFL provides emergency transportation for human blood on an "on demand" basis, to replenish hospital reserves. FFL provides this service continuously 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

FFL pilots flew 264,882 miles in 2010 providing these much needed services to the public. We fly to many communities, large and small, throughout Arizona. Our only requirement is that there be a useable airstrip available for our use.

The cost of operating the aircraft is donated to FFL as a charitable contribution.
